1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect

We collect and process:

• Your shop domain, owner name, and contact email
• Subscription and usage information (plan, impression count, billing period)
• Anonymous storefront analytics (badge views and clicks — no personal visitor data)
• Session data managed by Shopify

Badge configurations and custom icon images are stored entirely within your Shopify store and are not collected or stored on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Display trust badges on your storefront
• Track anonymous badge impressions and clicks for your analytics dashboard
• Manage your subscription and enforce usage limits
• Provide and improve the app

4. Third-Party Services

GoodySell Analytics: We collect anonymous badge view and click events from your storefront and send them to our analytics service. No personal visitor data (name, email, IP address) is collected.

Shopify: All authentication and billing is handled by Shopify.

Railway: We host the app on Railway's infrastructure.

5. Data Retention

• Badge configurations: Stored within your Shopify store and managed entirely by Shopify
• Analytics data: Since all analytics data is fully anonymous and contains no personal information, it is retained indefinitely for statistical analysis, service improvement, and reporting purposes
• Billing and shop data: Deleted from our servers when you uninstall the app
• Payment data: Managed entirely by Shopify

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app resets everything from scratch. All billing data will be cleared, analytics will start fresh, and you will need to reconfigure your badges.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data (uninstall the app or contact us)
• Export your data
• Object to processing

7. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and encrypted connections to protect your data. We don't store credit card information (Shopify handles payments).

1. About the App

Trust Badges & Icons is a Shopify app operated by GoodySell (SILVER WEB GROUP Sp. z o.o.). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. What the App Does

The app allows you to create and display customizable trust badges on your Shopify store to build customer confidence and boost conversions. Features include:

• 4 badge types: Banner With Icon, Icon Grid, Compact Icons Grid, Payment Badges
• 125 payment method icons
• Target badges to specific products, collections, tags, or your entire store
• Country-based geotargeting
• Multi-language translation support
• Call-to-action links and buttons
• Custom icon uploads
• Analytics dashboard (impressions, clicks, CTR)

3. Pricing & Billing

Available Plans:
• Free: 1 badge, up to 5,000 monthly impressions
• Starter: $5.99/month (unlimited badges, 20,000 impressions)
• Professional: $9.99/month (unlimited badges, 50,000 impressions)
• Business: $29.99/month (unlimited badges, unlimited impressions)

Impressions reset monthly. All billing through Shopify. If you downgrade to the Free plan while having multiple badges, only 1 badge will remain active and the rest will be automatically switched to Draft.

4. Your Responsibilities

You must:

• Use the app in compliance with Shopify's Terms of Service
• Ensure any custom content (icons, text) you add complies with applicable laws
• Not abuse the service or circumvent usage limits
• Not resell or redistribute the service

5. Intellectual Property

• The app, including its design and code, is owned by GoodySell
• Built-in icons and assets are licensed for use within the app only
• You retain ownership of any custom content you upload

6. Data & Privacy

• Badge data is stored within your Shopify store
• Anonymous storefront analytics (views, clicks) are sent to our analytics service
• Uninstalling the application will delete all data (except analytical data) related to your store from our servers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months or $100 USD, whichever is greater. We're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or any issues arising from badge display on your store.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription anytime through Shopify. All billing, refunds, and cancellations are managed by Shopify in accordance with their Terms of Service and applicable consumer protection laws.

Generally, no refunds are provided for unused impressions or partial months. Access continues until the end of your billing period after cancellation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Polish law. For business users, disputes will be resolved in Warsaw, Poland courts.

EU Consumers: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. You can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
